15 October 2026 – Alfa Revival Cup has officially been nominated for the 2026 International Historic Motoring Awards in the “Race Series of the Year” category, recognising outstanding historic racing series that combine sporting excellence, innovation and professionalism with an exceptional experience for competitors, while keeping the heritage of historic racing machinery alive on the circuit.
The nomination places Alfa Revival Cup among the contenders for one of the most prestigious international accolades in historic motoring, highlighting a series that brings together Alfa Romeo’s rich racing heritage and the competitive spirit of contemporary historic motorsport.
Established to return historic Alfa Romeo competition cars to their natural environment, the Canossa Events series brings together models representing different eras of the Biscione’s motorsport history. Held at some of the most prestigious circuits in Italy and across Europe, the championship maintains a direct connection with the marque’s racing traditions and the wider culture of international motorsport.
Founded in 2011, the International Historic Motoring Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals, organisations and initiatives within the collector car and historic motoring world. Now back under the ownership of their original founders, Geoff Love and David Lillywhite of Hothouse Media, the awards have been relaunched with more focused categories and a broader international outlook.
The official 2026 awards ceremony will take place on Friday 13 November at The Peninsula London, where the winners across the various categories will be announced.
