21 September 2026 – The Alfa Revival Cup is preparing to leave Italy for one of the most eagerly awaited fixtures of the season. On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, Spa-Francorchamps will host Round 4 of the 2026 championship, the only event on the calendar to take place outside Italy and the penultimate stop of the season. The seven-kilometre circuit, with its constant elevation changes and the legendary Eau Rouge-Raidillon sequence, will provide a setting where technique, speed and race management will once again prove decisive. The 1.5 coefficient will further raise the stakes, giving the results additional weight in a championship that remains wide open.
In Group E/F, the absence of championship leaders Giovanni Serio and Franco Mischis, who sit on 26 points after Vallelunga, creates an opportunity for Emanuele and Alessandro Morteo, second in the standings on 21 points. In Belgium, they will share the Irpinia Northwest Jolly Giulietta TI, with the chance to close the five-point gap to the top. Completing the Group will be the Giulia Sprint GTAs of Louis and George Frankel, making their first Alfa Revival Cup appearance of 2026 at Spa with ATF Motorsport, and Nikolaus Ditting, back in Belgium with Steinke Racing following his participation last year.
In Group G/H/I, the additional points on offer could have an even greater impact on the title battle, with several leading names not on the grid. Davide Bertinelli has been forced to miss Spa after a technical issue with the car emerged during preparations for the Belgian Round, while Massimo and Marco Guerra are also absent from the entry list, giving those competing the opportunity to make up ground before the final round.
For many of the Group’s leading contenders, the results at Spa could therefore carry considerable weight in the championship. Combined with the scoring system, which takes into account the number of starters in each class, the 1.5 coefficient can produce significant swings over the course of a single Round. A victory or a strong finish could substantially reduce the gaps and set up a much more open title fight heading into Misano than the one that emerged after Vallelunga.
One of the weekend’s key storylines will be the return of Matteo Kamata, who competed at the Belgian circuit in 2025 and will this time share the Alfa Delta OKP 1750 GTAm with his son Emanuele, who comes from karting and is contesting his maiden season in closed-wheel racing. Ambrogio Perfetti, meanwhile, returns to the circuit where he claimed victory in 2025 with the Alfa Delta OKP 1750 GTAm. At the same venue last year, Mario Salomone and Giacomo Barri also showed strong pace, starting from the second row and recording the second-fastest lap of the race.
Alfa Delta OKP will also field 1750 GTAms for 2025 Alfa Revival Cup champions Peter Bachofen and Dario Inhelder, Francesco Siccardi, Giulio and Mattia Sordi, Carlo Barbolini Cionini and Raffaele Raimondi, and Roberto Restelli. Completing the line-up will be the Giulia Sprint GTAs of Fred Arve Monsen and Fabrizio Zamuner.
Two more Giulia Sprint GTAs will be entered for Daniel and Malte Hager, making their first appearance of the season, and Atul Saini and Peter Praller. Formula GT will also field 1750 GTAms for Alberto Franceschetti, Patrick Wilwert, Bernhard Laber and Lukas Stojetz, as well as Hans Luginbühl. Wilwert will also return to the Ardennes circuit, having already competed there in the 2025 edition.
The field is completed by Gavin Watson in the Covir Team 1750 GTAm, Salvatore Carbone and Marco Leva with Gatti Team, and Fausto Amendolagine and Gianluca Bardelli representing Andromeda. Spa will mark the first appearance of the 2026 season for both Watson and Amendolagine, while André Kardol will line up in the Alfa Race Team GT Veloce 2000.
Alessandro Morteo, meanwhile, will compete on two fronts at Spa. Alongside the Giulietta TI shared with Emanuele in Group E/F, he will also race the Alfetta GT Turbodelta with Lorenzo Moramarco in G/H/I, with both cars entered by Irpinia Northwest Jolly.
A total of 24 cars are expected at Spa-Francorchamps, bringing together crews who have already played a leading role across the opening three Rounds and new additions to the 2026 season. The Belgian encounter will take the Alfa Revival Cup one step closer to Misano, with plenty still to be decided.
The action gets underway on Friday 25 September with the first free practice session from 09:55 to 10:20, followed by FP2 from 12:20 to 12:45. Qualifying is scheduled from 15:30 to 16:00, while the 60-minute race will get underway at 10:00 on Saturday 26 September.
