2024 ALFA REVIVAL CUP CHAMPIONS HONORED AND EXCITING UPDATES ANNOUNCED FOR 2025

At the festive awards ceremony for the champions of the 2024 Alfa Revival Cup, held in the scenic hills of Reggio Emilia on Saturday, November 23, the air was already filled with anticipation for the 2025 season.

November, 28th 2024: The announcement that a legendary track like Spa, in Belgium, would be included in the calendar reignited the passion for competition behind the wheel of the unique and iconic Alfa Romeo cars that conquered the world between the 1950s and the 1980s.

The format of the awards ceremony was particularly well-received, combining an aperitif, lunch, official announcements, and the prize-giving with video highlights showcasing the most exciting moments of the season.
Caterina Di Giorgio and Fares Kedier, the driving forces behind the series organized by Canossa Events, also revealed the five rounds of the 2025 calendar: Red Bull Ring in Austria, Mugello, Vallelunga, Spa in Belgium, and Misano.

The grand trophy for the overall winner was awarded to a driver with Alfa Romeo in his DNA, being a resident of Arese, not far from where these legendary racing cars were originally built. The winner was Davide Bertinelli, a brilliant veteran of the Alfa Revival Cup. His GTAm was prepared and supported by Cesare Gatti’s team. Bertinelli will have the honor of keeping and displaying the trophy until the end of the next championship, just as Michael Erlich, the 2023 champion, did.
Runners-up were Emilio Petrone and Giacomo Barri. Roberto Restelli, team manager of OKP Alfa Delta Racing Team, collected the trophies on behalf of Petrone, who sadly passed away last September. Third place overall, after an exceptional season, went to Francesco Pantaleo and Antonio Crescenti of the Carrera Team.

Further recognition of Pantaleo and Crescenti’s outstanding performance came with their victory in the final “Index of Performance” standings, where they triumphed over Davide Bertinelli and the duo of Bernhard Laber and Lukas Stojetz, who finished third. Pantaleo and Crescenti also claimed the top spot in the F TC 1600 class with their Giulia Sprint GTA.

In the G2 TC 2000 class, Davide Bertinelli finished ahead of the Petrone-Barri duo, with Bernhard Laber and Lukas Stojetz taking third place.
In the H1 T 2000 class, the GT Veloce 2000 of Fausto Amendolagine from Scuderia Capannone Garage clinched the top spot, while Marco Milla from the same team took the win in the H1 TC 1600 class with his Giulia Super.

Among the teams, the OKP Alfa Delta Racing Team, known for their professionalism and consistent presence on the grid with an average of ten cars per race, were crowned champions. Congratulations!

Although it may seem like there is plenty of time until April 26-27, the opening weekend of the 2025 season at the Red Bull Ring, preparations are already underway. Every year, the level of competition rises, making the races even more thrilling and closely contested. This is the perfect way to enhance the spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm that defines this romantic yet demanding championship.
