Formula GT opens entries for the 2026 Alfa Revival Cup with four cars

Three 1750 GTAm and one Giulia Sprint GTA confirmed for the season

March 26, 2026: Formula GT, led by Peter Praller, has confirmed its first four cars for the 2026 Alfa Revival Cup, the series dedicated to Alfa Romeo GT and Touring models, which will get underway at Mugello in the coming weeks before concluding in November at Misano World Circuit.

The following cars and drivers are entered for the championship:

∙ #27 – 1750 GTAm (Period G2) – Alberto Franceschetti
∙ #93 – 1750 GTAm (Period G2) – Hans Luginbühl
∙ #68 – 1750 GTAm (Period G2) – Albert Weinzierl
∙ #163 – Giulia Sprint GTA (Period G1) – Atul Saini

Several drivers have already competed in the Canossa-promoted series in previous seasons and return to the track aiming to confirm their form, ensuring a direct contest between iconic Alfa Romeo Touring models.

For the opening round at Mugello Circuit on 18–19 April, Franceschetti, Luginbühl and Saini will be on the grid, while Weinzierl is set to join from the second round at the Tazio Nuvolari Circuit.

These early confirmations from the Munich-based team already define a compact and highly competitive line-up, set to grow over the course of the season with further drivers expected to join.
