Alfa Revival Cup 2026: History returns to the track

ACI Sport has approved the 2026 Regulations of the Alfa Revival Cup.

March 12, 2026: The main updates are as follows:

 

Classifications and Awards for each Race

At the end of each race, the following classifications will be drawn up:

  • overall classification for Period E–F cars
  • overall classification for Period G–H–I cars
  • overall classification by class

At each round, the E–F podium, the G–H–I podium, and the winner of each class will be awarded.

 

Championship Classifications and Awards

At the end of the season, the following classifications will be drawn up:

  • overall classification for Period E–F cars
  • overall classification for Period G–H–I cars
  • overall classification by class
  • overall classification by team

At the end of the season, during the final lunch, prizes will be awarded to the E–F podium, the G–H–I podium, the top three in each class, and the first-placed team.

To be eligible for the championship standings, competitors must take part in at least 3 of the 5 races on the calendar.

 

Scores and Coefficients

A new points table based on classification by class has been introduced, with the extra points for pole position and best lap confirmed. (minimum 3 starting cars per class).

The race at Tazio Nuvolari will have a 1.25 coefficient, and the race at SPA will have a 1.50 coefficient.

 

Replacement Cars

Any request to change the car after the publication of the entry list may be made up to 2 hours before the start of the race. If a car change is accepted after the qualifying session, the competitor will start from the back of the grid, in last position.

 

Qualifying and Declaration of Starting Driver

In case of a car with two drivers, it is not mandatory for both drivers to take part in the qualifying session.
The car, not the driver, qualifies during the session.

The declaration indicating which driver will start first in the race (for cars with two drivers) must be submitted within 1 hour after the end of the qualifying session.

 

Race Format

The race format takes place over two days (Saturday and Sunday, except at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, scheduled for Friday and Saturday) and includes:

  • 2 × 25’ Free Practice
  • 1 × 30’ Qualifying
  • 1 × 60’ Race
