Alfa Revival Cup 2025 Round 5 Mugello: Penultimate Round Among The Splendid Tuscan Hills

The Championship celebrating historic racing Alfa Romeos produced between 1947 and 1981 reaches its fifth round at Mugello Circuit from 5-7 September.

September 2, 2025: The stage for the fifth round of the 2025 Alfa Revival Cup is the dream scenario among the hills of Mugello in Tuscany, on the Grand Prix track owned by Ferrari where Formula 1 and especially MotoGP have raced. A spectacular track for drivers, featuring just over 5 kilometres of elevation changes including challenging corners like the heavy braking zone at San Donato, the downhill Casanova and Savelli sections, the twin Arrabbiata corners with their blind exits, and finally Bucine, the last hairpin before the long main straight. For spectators too, the natural “bowl” shape of the Mugello Circuit creates a unique experience with views across most of the track.

Championship leader #1 Davide Bertinelli of Team Gatti secured his third victory of the season at Imola, attempting to pull away decisively and confirm himself as 2025 Champion, but his pursuers refuse to give up and are ready for battle: tied for second place in the overall standings are crew #23 Mario Salomone and Giacomo Barri, and #85 Peter Bachofen and Dario Inhelder of Team Alfa Delta OKP, followed closely by #168 Christian Oldendorff of Team Fernandes Racing.

Ready to challenge for outright victory are the 2-litre GTAms, including the return of Matteo Kamata #34 and Ambrogio Perfetti #105 of Team Alfa Delta OKP after missing Imola, both ready for battle alongside Raffaele Raimondi and Carlo Barbolini Cionini #19 and the consistently competitive pairing of Bernhard Laber and Lukas Stojetz #69. The grid features many other Alfa Romeo gems, including Federico Buratti and Massimiliano Bettati’s Giulia GTA 1300 Junior and Norwegian Fred Avre Monsen’s Giulia Sprint GTA 1600. Plus the GT Veloce 2000s of Alberto Zanatta and Lorenzo Pavan #65 and Andre Kardol #151, along with Marco Milla and Massimo Lupoli’s Giulia Super #220.

The Mugello Racing Weekend features many other categories including the National GT Challenge, the Coppa Italia Turismo and Boss GP, which brings historic single-seaters back to the track. Circuit entry costs just €5 with access to the Prato areas, while Central Grandstand and box terrace tickets (€10 Friday, €20 Saturday and Sunday) provide paddock access to experience drivers and cars up close, just like in Motorsport’s golden era when exploring the garages was much easier than it is today.

For those unable to join us at Mugello, the fifth round of Alfa Revival Cup will be broadcast live on YouTube, allowing you to connect from any device and not miss a moment of the track action. As always, our social channels will capture the weekend with exclusive daily video content, revealing the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of a unique championship that combines historic charm with unrivalled competitiveness.
