ALFA REVIVAL CUP 2025 ROUND 4 IMOLA

From 25 to 27 July the fourth round starts at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari for the Championship dedicated to historic racing Alfa Romeos produced from 1947 to 1981.

July 21, 2025: Alfa Revival Cup prepares for the fourth round of the 2025 edition at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, what Enzo Ferrari called the Little Nürburgring and one of the few European circuits where you drive anti-clockwise. An authentic temple of racing where genuine emotion is experienced corner after corner: from Tamburello to Villeneuve, passing through Tosa and Piratella, until reaching the “dive” of the descent and climb at Acque Minerali and Variante Alta, before completing the lap at the two Rivazza corners. A technical and demanding track that rewards courage and does not forgive errors, making drivers feel part of something magical in a place where the memory of great champions lives forever.

The Alfa Revival Cup Championship continues with #1 Davide Bertinelli of Team Gatti attempting to break away, buoyed by his brilliant Misano victory that allowed him to extend his championship lead by exploiting the complicated race of his direct pursuers #23 Mario Salomone and Giacomo Barri of Team Alfa Delta OKP, who now trail by 13 points. The entry list is packed with drivers ready for battle, including Arturo Merzario, a protagonist of Alfa Romeo history in the ‘70s with the Tipo 33, who will partner Fabian Körber at the wheel of the Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 #26 of Team Alfa Delta OKP.

The powerful 2000cc GTAm group is well-represented, with the return of Jolly Car Squadra Corse entries #81 and #86 of Edoardo Caponi, Fabrizio Sabatini and Dario Domenichini, plus the #88 crew of brothers Emanuele and Giampaolo Benedini from Carrera Team. There will also be many other Alfa Romeo jewels on the grid, including the GTA 1300 Junior #12 of brothers Giulio and Mattia Sordi, the Giulia Sprint GTA 1600s of Jürgen Ludwig #32 and Daniel Hager #55, and the Giulia Super of Marco Milla and Ioannis Plagos #220. The GT Veloce 2000 class promises fierce competition between Scuderia Clemente Biondetti entries #61 of Edoardo and Gianni Acciai and #62 of Fabio Gimignani, ready to battle #65 of Alberto Zanatta and Lorenzo Pavan, along with #151 of Andre Kardol. Also returning to Alfa Revival Cup are #36 Christian Ondrak and Massimo Bortolami with their Giulia Sprint GTA, and #110 of Dino Cardillo.

A weekend promising rich action with the Endurance and Touring races of the Imola-Classic event, featuring legendary cars like the Ferrari 312 PB, Porsche 917K and Shelby Cobra Daytona amongst the many highlights.

Access to the circuit is possible through the purchase of a €15 ticket that provides entry to the grandstands and, to ensure you don’t miss any moment of the racing action and behind-the-scenes activity, admission to the paddock where you can explore the garages with mechanics at work or chat with drivers and fans.

The Imola round, like the previous ones, will be broadcast live on YouTube, allowing even those unable to reach the Autodromo to experience a dive into the past by following every moment of the action from any device. Weekend coverage will be enriched by exclusive video content on Alfa Revival Cup’s social channels, capturing the paddock environment and atmosphere with behind-the-scenes access.
