Alfa Revival Cup 2025 round 3 Misano: the championship heats up

27-29 June at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the third round of the Championship celebrating historic racing Alfa Romeos produced between 1947 and 1981

June, 24 2025: Alfa Revival Cup returns next weekend for the third round of the 2025 season at Misano World Circuit, named in honour of the late Marco Simoncelli. With free admission and open access to the paddock, enthusiasts can get close to the drivers and admire the cars that forged Alfa Romeo’s competitive legacy.

The weekend promises non-stop entertainment with multiple race categories including TCR Europe, National GT Challenge and Formula Junior amongst the highlights.

The third round of Alfa Revival Cup promises to be unmissable, with just 2.5 points separating the championship’s top three: Davide Bertinelli from Team Gatti, Mario Salomone-Giacomo Barri from Team Alfa Delta OKP and Christian Oldendorff from Team Fernandes Racing, all poised for battle. The spectacular Romagna circuit, featuring legendary corners like la Quercia, il Tramonto and the twin del Carro turns, guarantees thrilling on-track action, as demonstrated by the sprint finish at the previous round in Vallelunga, where Ronnie Kessel snatched victory from Daniele Perfetti at the final corner.

Davide Bertinelli earned his championship-winning number 1, which now adorns his GTAm with pride, by taking victory at this very Misano round last year, finishing ahead of Ronnie Kessel and Matteo Kamata to claim the 2024 Alfa Revival Cup title. Alongside the strong contingent of 2-litre GTAms in class G2 TC 2000, the grid will showcase other gems from the Biscione marque: Carlo Ferrari’s 2600 Sprint in class F TC 2600, Marco Milla’s Giulia Super co-driven by Fulvio Ferri in class H1 TC 1600, Andre Kardol’s GT Veloce in class H2 TC 2000, and the Giulia Sprint GTA of Giovanni Serio and Franco Mischis in class I GR.5 1600.

As with the first two rounds of the 2025 Alfa Revival Cup season, Misano will be broadcast live on YouTube, allowing enthusiasts to follow every moment of the track action from any device. The weekend’s coverage will be enriched by exclusive photographic and video content, capturing the unique paddock atmosphere and the most compelling moments on track.

The Misano round marks the halfway point of the 2025 Alfa Revival Cup Championship, which continues with Imola (25-27 July), Mugello (5-7 September) and the grand finale at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit (25-27 September).
